2009 Staff Reunion
December 27-29, 2009
Dear Fellow Staff,
Greetings! It seems like only yesterday that we were gathered in the Rathom Lodge to bid adieu to our summer together… time does indeed pass us by so very quickly.
It will be much sooner than we think before our family gathers again at Camp for yet another outstanding season of dedication to the Scouts and Scouters of Camp Yawgoog.
But before the magic of the summer begins, it is with great pleasure that I extend personally to you an invitation to attend the 2009 Camp Yawgoog Staff Reunion! To be held December 27-29, 2009
That’s right! We’re all getting together at Camp for a few days during the holiday school break! We ask that you register on line. At the bottom of the page there is a button that says “register” You can figure it out from there.
The Reunion is always a blast – the best time to catch up with your fellow staffmen. There’ll be lots of things to do, including getting hired for 2010. Also, on Monday, December 28, 2009 there will be a General Staff Meeting in the Bucklin Memorial Room at 7:30pm. Plan to gather at 7:00pm – and, of course, everyone is welcome to join us for dinner beforehand at 5:45pm. Immediately after the meeting, each Camp will have their own separate meeting.
If you’re under 18, remember to bring the permission-to-leave-Yawgoog slip, signed by a parent or guardian. You may want to go off reservation for a movie or whatever.
I hope that your off-season has so far been a rewarding one. I hope you and your family enjoyed a very happy Thanksgiving, and I wish you all the best for the holiday season. I look forward to seeing you return to Yawgoog next summer, and, in the unfortunate event that you are unable to attend the reunion, I wish you a happy New Year and say: See you at the May Meeting!
To everyone else (and I hope that’s everyone) --
SEE YOU ON THE 27th!
In the Spirit of Yawgoog,
Thomas J. Sisson
Reservation Director
